If you think it is that easy for MM's to make money, why don't you study up for a few securities exams, take $250,000 capital requirements out of you wallet (steal it, borrow it, whatever) and pay $10 to NASDAQ for each stock you want to manipulate and make money hand over fist??? Of course there are a few other start up costs and headaches involved, but with your new license to print money, I am sure you could hire someone to handle the paperwork and reporting requirements.
