Jules, <<I think IBM's announced split last week was posibly the only thing that delayed the stock from tanking.>> Actually, I think the announcement was a desperate tactical move to stop the slide from accelerating and becoming major. I have close contacts at IBM and up until a few weeks ago the internal word was that IBM was not planning on any splits in the immediate future. All of a sudden, boom an announcement. Sounds very strange to me. FF
