The .16 was from operations from what I understand, this is an overall number, and includes business and gains/losses from investments. Net was .08, which is what the business earned. This is the way CNBC explained the whole deal. If this is the case, which it appears to be, AOL actually missed the number.....we will see tomorrow. As I said before, analysts don't figure in investment gains in their numbers. I find it interesting that a high flyer like AOL only traded up to 88 after hours, that's still a full 1 1/2 points below the previous days close, and the after market can be deceiving. JMO.
