From the RB board:Today's Non Sequitur

This was a very good day. There were 293 advances in the S&P 500, 17 advances in the 30 Dow stocks and 84 in the Nasdaq 100. The MID--X and VLE moved further into the new high ground they have been trading in. The most important news today is that the Nasdaq Composite (COMPQX) took out the previous August high, thereby rendering the status of “failing rally” to non sequitur. This greatly diminishes the chance of a test of the May low, or even a test of the August low, where the one-day reversal occurred. It greatly increases the probable validity of the one-day reversal.
