Fran, congratulations on your recent victory of dismissal! From what I read this was a bizarre case indeed. Thank you and Mr. Turkewitz for holding fast and defending your rights against such bullies. BTW: Didn't Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe represent the plaintiffs (aka losers) in this case too? “posted 01-18-2001 01:50 PM Francis Worst, an online poster who "cut and pasted" the comments of another from one forum to another, and was sued for defamation as a result.... ...has been dismissed from the lawsuit entitled Sovereign Partners v. Restaurant Teams. We had refused all offers of settlement, demanding an unconditional dismissal, which plaintiffs had refused to give. We also moved for sanctions.
