Here's what AMAT's customers are seeing in this bull market today.... Today's Commentary: 10/28/97 Spot market prices for most Intel CPUs and 16 meg DRAM are declining. In all probability, pricing opportunities on CPUs will spur OEM interest in what has quickly become a buyers market. I still think this is a bigger story that we need to watch..unitl this DRAM situation works out...Semi caps may have some bad days ahead. And to think this is the busiest season for DRAM sales. dave
