Applied Innovation Formalizes Cisco Technology License December 9, 1996, 12:32 PM EST
DUBLIN, Ohio, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Innovation Inc. (AI) (Nasdaq: AINN) today announced that the license of technology from Cisco Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) which was announced as a Memo of Understanding on Oct. 28, 1996, has been formalized and a contract has been signed.
Under the contract, Cisco will license technology so AI can integrate Cisco's routing technology into AI's AI180 product, which is used by telephone companies to provide connectivity from their switching and transmission equipment to their centralized network management systems.
