I am not very knowledgeable about crashes, but it would seem like the best strategy would be if you cannot time them just right to just hold tight. If you have a good company like Intel etc., it will eventually come back. In the meantime during the bear market, increase ones position on the good stock. I would like to hear what you think about this. Of course, if you could time the crash, get out and later get back in at a lower price.
