Recently it retreated to $2.00, now at $3.00. DCI Telecommunications Annual Earnings Show Vast Improvement FAIRFIELD, Conn., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- DCI Telecommunications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DCTC) today reported net loss of $373,000 for the fiscal year ended March 31, 1997 versus net loss of $712,000 for the fiscal year ended March 31, 1996. Joseph J. Murphy, president and chief executive officer stated, "The improvement in fiscal 1997 principally reflects the impact of continued effective cost control and the acquisition of Muller Media, which is being recorded on the purchase method of accounting. These improvements do not reflect the recent acquisition CardCall International, CyberFax and Crossmain Ltd." Consolidated revenues were $2.8 million in the fiscal year ended March 31, 1997 versus $1.8 million in the same period a year ago, an increase of 56 percent. The Company's "run rate," annualized recurring monthly revenues based on the amount billed to customers, increased 9 fold. last year's figure of $2.0 million has soared to $18.0 million in fiscal 1997. This reflects the sale of additional services to current customers as well as market penetration via new customers gained through the acquisition of CardCall International.
