I love a sale. But the price you have to pay for US equities is high (if you beleive a PE of 22 is high and I do). Can the economy get much better in the US...I dont think so and therefore earnings will not continue to rise fast enough to support MSFT at 45 times earnings or Dell at whatever it is now.

So my first 20-year idea (which I have held for year one so far) is Pakistan.
Things only have one way to go over there--up. When I look at the map I see a very strategically located country.

My plan for holding Pakistan Investment Fund is definately long term. I would go for Iran which has location location location plus recources (oil) but I dont think there is any way to invest in Iran right now (no politics please!).

Sorry my first idea wasn't tech which would better suit SI, but I expect we will see some of those too in this thread.
