I personally dont think that Sun will benifit from aquiring Apple. Apple has lost market share for years now and each quarter they make the promise of higher earnings and increased market share; none of which has ever occured to the extent of their promise. The only reason Apple has any market share is that they give thier computers away to high schools and universities in hopes of winning over future computer buyers. I am sorry to say they just don't have the time to wait. Sun's stock price has tripled over the past two years, why take on a loosing enterprise such as Apple. If Sun does aquire Apple then it will only stagnate or slash thier earnings. I am sorry to say Sun is buying a rotten Apple!
