I don't know. I am short (at 85), but read a recent article in Fortune where three tech gurus recommended the company. They said companies like AOL cant be valued by PE, etc. Their point was that AOL should be valued for its asset base of 10 mil accounts. They said that AOL will somehow find a way to make money off of all those accounts. E-commerce, I suppose. I shorted AOL because I philosophically and practically detest it. In my mind, most all of AOL's value-added services are redundant. What compelling original content do they offer? Responses on this issue appreciated.
