Grand Union's top management are former Kroger folks and Grand Union is currently in areas where Kroger is not. What a nice fit, hmmmmm? Jack W. Partridge Elected Vice Chairman and a Director of The Grand Union Company WAYNE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1998--The Board of Directors of The Grand Union Co. elected Jack W. Partridge as Vice Chairman and a Director. On Jan. 5, 1998, Partridge was named the Company's Chief Administrative Officer. Partridge, 52, joined Grand Union after a distinguished 23-year career with The Kroger Co., the nation's largest food retailer, where he most recently served as Group Vice President and a member of the company's Senior Management Committee.
