Bob,

I've owned a significant position since first of year, and have done fairly well with it. I initially bought it because it had a more favourable valuation than most of the other mutual mgmt companies, and because it had a significant stake in Midland-Walwyn (which has not turned out so good). Price to assets, price to cash flow, both better than Trimark, CIX, others. I actually had to choose between AGF and MKF, and went this route; would have done better with AGF. AGF also has a quite attractive valuation compared to others. Last year I caught a double on ODM, but have not gotten back into it yet.

I will try to dig out my research on MKF and see if there is anything useful to contribute.
