I guess I have to start first.

Chateauneuf du Pape is a rather unknown wine - I mean compared to Burgondy or Bordeaux - , located south of Cotes du Rhone, where Guigal "Cotes Roties" (Mouline, Landonne) made a killing in ten years. The equivalent of Mouline (a far better trade off than Petrus or even Margaux/Latour to me) is named Chateau Rayas. Try it on red or white... My last bottle (sob) was a 1971... May be if RMBS goes over $200 next year...
(Chateau Rayas, Emmanuel Reynaud - fax +33 4 90 83 51 17 - don't dream of an e-mail, this is France, with its Jurassic Net named Minitel - and don't take it as an ad, just try to get on their waiting list for next year)
