Com,

Here's a good place to start:

Whenever a stock pulls back from the first thrust to a new high, it represents a low risk trading opportunity. There are always traders who missed the first breakout and want to get on board. The best entries come when the pullback is to the top of the base the stock just broke through, any gap that triggered the breakout or the top of the old high the stock congested under before it gathered enough strength to make the break.

Caution needs to be exercised to make certain the original breakout was on solid volume and thrusted well past prior highs. Marginal new highs on low volume often trigger a double top reversal since no crowd shows up to support the stock.
