Hallo Edward,

seems that you have had a very unlucky timing. The Wal Mart stock has sunk for three reasons.

1. High PE-ratio validation (because growth is slowing down)

2. Retail sector has been out of fashion

3. Bad sales due to the grim winter

I think now, that you should hold your stock for a while. It has turned around already, retail sector does no better in general on Wall street and the winter is over. So hold on, you have a good chance to cut your losses.
