Mannatech is a network marketing company with more than 226,000 active Associates. (Under Mannatech's definition an active Associate is someone who has purchased product from the company within the last 12 months).

That explains the large number of 100-300 share orders that made up the entire first day's trading. They probably came from the sales associates, not the general investing public.

I wonder if they sent out promotional material to their sales network prompting them to get in on a "sweet deal"....
