As I have just returned from my trip to see, feel and smell what I have invested in. I thought, I would start this thread off with those details..Please add you thoughts opinions and valuable dd to this thread.
I can tell you that we have one HELL of a good investment, and that is my opinion of course but that's what I believe!
I have met with the folks at EBLD and I can state first of all...that Stepehen Brown has one heck of an operation going on down here! I met just about all the folks who help run and are the brain trust's of this Organization and they all seem....hmmm, how can I state this?..Energized, Committed,invested...they just seem to be having a good time doing what they do!
First off let me tell you it is a huge space, with room to grow, but the flavor is hip and high tech...T-1 lines run though-out the place. Stephen's office is up above and so are many of the others who manage the day to day stuff.
Down below there are appox 20 to 30 stations in the area which deals with encoding...they were very busy the day I arrived...They are still building the office spaces out but it looked to me as if thay were adding more spaces to the encoding area. Me being in the construction Biz noticed this apparent plan for more spaces and so I asked if more were planned for and was told by summer they would indeed be adding more encoding positions...
Surrounding the encoding sections were multiple offices with web developers and others. I met the Susnars...and the youngest had told me he spent the entire weekend there as they were gearing up for some commercial that his team was developing to be aired very soon for EBLD.
Sorry folks would not tell for who, or when, or how...the quiet period....I can tell you by the time I left I was chanting to myself two more weeks... two more weeks...never wanted to see a month pass so quickly as I do this one..Come on SEC get the dam filing review over with!
I spent over an hour with the folks there and the entire time the phones were ringing off the hooks..Steve was very busy, and infact delayed our meeting because some VIPS had arrived much earlier than they had been scheduled.
I didn't mind as I was later told they were from Robb Peck!
They apologized for bumping my time slot, but as you can Imagine it was fine with me as they served to reassure me on a much higher level, that I had Invested wisely in this company!
We talked about the quiet period and how hard it was for us as Investors..Stephen told me many times how he understood the frustration, but that even though it was a quiet period (as far as the information that could be put out for general consumption...)the company was very, very busy and continuing to pursue his business plan. He stated with many exciting results...all of which will be unvailed very soon!
I will add more upon my arrival back home in Va..But at this point I am not concerned and in fact quite excited about this company, it's staff, and those that have created this niche!
I will add one last point which I think it a plus, plus to this investment..This Internet play is like a puzzle with many pieces...EBLD has been a little blip on the radar screen, moving along,unseen,unknown.. Slowly they have been picking up pieces, little by little, adding to the bottom line, encoding here, content there, an obscure Kids educational news paper..a concert series..Windows media player...On and on...than AOL does it's thing and now we seem to have a company that folks are saying Hmmmm where have these folks been...I think content is king and we seem to have a heck of a lot of content...I will add more later...bottomline..I like what I see and will continue to add at these prices..I think this is a No BRAINER!
