This Markam Ontario Canada based company is producing a near
online 12mm-50 Gigabyte storage system. It is expandable to 30 tapes,
giving 1500 Gigabytes. Is this the state of the art? How far behind
is the competition?
Legacy's page is www.interscape.net/legacy/
They trade on the TSE as LEG
Last week they had a run from 1.04 to 1.45.Now they are back down to
1.15
Any comments would be welcomed.

Legacy Storage Systems was recommended by Dunnery Best last December on the Southam Business show. At that time it went up to about 3.20 I believe. They lost a few big contract that they expected to get and I believe that is part of the reason for it's price dropping. It is owned by a former Vice pres of Apple. As far as I know it is a solid company and should go back up again. In December they were listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Before that they traded only on the Alberta exchange. I am looking at buying into it right now. The price is unbelievably low. Might be an idea to e-mail them for an annual report.
