Hi Magnifique,
In between our messages, I've been reading up on AMTX and Selvac. (Thanks for your last message about AMTX patents).
From the SEC report Selvac lost money in the past. The company may do better since it acquired Classy Lady.
From the SEC Report: (The Company's discussion)
" The Company continues to be dependent on the sales of one product, Finally Free, which accounted for 96% of sales for the nine months ended February 29, 1996. Efforts to establish markets for Finally Firm have continued. It is presently too early for management to draw conclusions as to the results of these efforts.
Assuming consummation of the Classy Lady acquisition and related Laser Industries joint venture, future direction of the Company's efforts will include those related to the development and marketing of products which exploit Classy Lady's licensed processes. Under the terms of the contract between the Company and Classy Lady, management of Classy Lady and their appointees are to comprise a majority of the Company's Board of Directors subsequent to the acquisition."
The product "Finally Free" was marketed in Canada, but the sales have decreased in the Canadian marketplace, according to SEC Report.
I noticed that 377,100 shares of SLVC traded Friday! Quite a large number, don't you think?
Also, I wonder who will buy Classy Lady's products?
Best wishes, |
