The book is absolutely great. This is the modern equivalent of Graham's net-net.

The net-net strategy picked stocks that were down and out, looked like they were going to die, and some did, but a diversified list gave old Ben 20% per annum gains. The reason why both work is that Mr. Market over-reacts in the short-term and humans (even Warren and charlie) simply cannot predict the future. So the law of regression to the mean takes over (see Ben's Homer quote) and a diversified list comes out a winner.

I've been using the method for a month. So far those gains have not been unsatisfactory.
