  CHICAGO, March 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: OXPS) today reported key monthly performance metrics for February. Highlights of the month included:
      --  Daily average revenue trades (DARTs) of 29,200 -- 64% higher than         February 2005, 11% lower than January 2006     --  Net new customer accounts of 5,500.  Ending customer accounts of         172,600 -- 56% higher than February 2005, 3% higher than January 2006     --  Ending client assets of $3.7 billion -- 76% higher than February 2005,         unchanged from January 2006     --  Ending margin balances of $117 million -- 30% higher than February         2005, 1% higher than January 2006
