DRL; I think it's a very good idea. I did close to the same thing myself a few weeks ago. I sold LRCX at 23 (was long at 35), took the loss for this year, & bought MTSN. I would agree with your NVLS pick & would buy it over AMAT. I think MTSN will do much better than either, but it's it involves more risk. Several of these have come down by roughly the same amount. By selling to get a tax benefit & buying back you have roughly the same investment with some cash back this year. Best of Luck, John Stewart
