ADVANCED GAMING TECHNOLOGY, INC - TRADE SHOW UPDATE
VANCOUVER, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc. (AGTI)
reports the results of its participation at the World Gaming Conference in Las
Vegas on October 1, 2 and 3. The Company received a considerable amount of
interest in its two new products: MAX Speed Bingo and Sonic Bingo, a
progressive/linked speed bingo game.
Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc. formally introduced its MAX Speed Bingo
game, which is successfully operating in California (since March '96). Because
of the high degree of success that the speed bingo game has achieved,
interest within the gaming industry for this new product is escalating. Firm
orders for MAX Speed Bingo are continuing to build.
SEGA Gaming Technology (SGTI) and Advanced Gaming Technology jointly
introduced Sonic Bingo at the SEGA booth. The Sonic Bingo prototype received
a high level of interest from industry operators. Sonic Bingo appeals to the
industry because of its capability to play progressive/linked speed bingo at
multiple locations. Sonic Bingo's hardware can be custom designed to fit the
requirements of each casino, cruise ship and bingo hall. Sonic Bingo will be
beta tested for at least sixty days prior to full commercial production.
SGTI/AGTI are now receiving expressions of interest from the industry.
AGTI's MAX Bingo Systems product line now includes four games: MAXPLUS,
MAXLITE, MAXSPEED and Sonic Bingo (the SGTI/AGTI joint venture).
MAX Bingo Systems have been installed in the states of Connecticut,
Maryland, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon and California with a total of 800
units now operating on a leased basis. This represents monthly lease revenues
of approximately $250,000, more than doubling of the Company's revenue base
from one month ago. The Company is therefore cautiously optimistic that it
will turn an operating profit during the fourth quarter.
Advanced Gaming Technology, in order to maintain quality product and
provide a high standard of service, is systematically installing MAX Bingo
Systems on a weekly basis. The Company is training additional staff for its
expanded technical center in Phoenix, Arizona. These steps are being
carefully executed to ensure maximum reliability of installations and the
highest standard of operational training for customers. Since the Company's
business is now being demand-driven by orders for product, management is
taking all the steps necessary to conduct its business around this demand.
AGTI is very pleased with the strong performance of its products, and the
resulting heavy flow of orders for the MAX Bingo Systems. The Company leases
its products to gaming hall operators throughout the United States.
