J. Nelson,

Hi. I've been a shareholder for a couple of months and I know that this is going to be a winner. Here's the news release that they put out yesterday. I believe that the Nevada property is no longer part of the company's assets but they have replaced it with 20% of a much larger copper/gold mine in Chile.

Maximum Resources Inc.
#400 - 905 West Pender Street
Vancouver, B.C. V6C 1L6

NEWS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Vancouver, B.C. - November 21, 1996...Maximum Resources Inc. wishes to announce that with reference to the news release of July 25, 1996, negotiations to acquire a significant minority interest in a copper/gold property in northern Chile are nearing completion.

The property, located 38 kilometers south-east of the city of Copiapo and now compromising a total of approximately 3100 hectares, is currently undergoing exploration and small scale production development. Recent selected grab samples have run from 2.54% to 9.12% copper and 0.03 to 0.21 grams per metric tonne gold. In addition, a recent bulk sample consisting of 23.27 metric tonnes returned an average grade of 2.13% copper.

Current small tonnage production from this property of 100 to 200 tonnes per day of "direct shipping ore" is currently being processed at a nearby Enami copper refinery.

Further news on the acquisition will be released when available.

As part of the continuing reorganization of Maximum Resources Inc., the oil and gas projects developed by the previous management have been or will be written off.

On Behalf of the Board.

Russell K. Godwin
President
