The Other Shoe Drops! I got home from a long weekend to find on my answering machine a message from my placement firm telling me that Rollins wants to hire me back into their Truck Leasing Company. Could this be the reason they gave me a bad reference when I wanted to leave Lockheed? Low-down, I'd say. Now Im screwed at Lockheed and Rollins is willing to 'pick up the pieces'. Are they going to match the offer from Vertex? I doubt it. Are they going to pick up the extra taxes I pay to Delaware? I doubt it. Is the guy that layed me off at Rol- lins REALLY going to hire me back? I doubt it. Are they going to put things straight with Lockheed? I doubt it. There is more to this than meets the eye! Puppeteering? Regret? Who knows. Any comments?
