Roger, ETEC systems owns at least a 70% market share in the semi-equipment photomask business. They currently make about 10 very expensive systems per quarter. Obviously, if two of those system orders get pushed back due to Asian problems, their earnings for that quarter take a hit. Nonetheless, they dominate their niche. Long-term, because of ETEC's own capital spending needs, there is an issue whether they can spin off significant cash. Still, their positioning and share are unmatched. This stock is not a piece of crap. I don't currently own it but if it happens to get to your $30 target, I will.
Best
-Steve
