Thanks for your reply. I think you are right. I was always amazed by so many people are willing to pay for upgrade, upgrade for these computer stuffs. It will reach the satuation sooner or later. I am quite gooad at computer. But I can only use 20-30% of the features that MS word offers. A lot of people can only use 5% of them I notice.

Component software, and home entertainment machine is the future. Back in Jan. or Feb. Someone posted here that his reason to dump AAPL was because an executive of Apple Europe said the personal computer is dead and apple does not see itself as a computer company. I think it's a quite bold, and probably more accurate description of the computer industry.
