Sage Showcases Highest Quality Progressive Video Output at COMDEX 2000:
First public showing of single-chip solution FLI2200 display processors implementing Faroudja Laboratories' award winning technology
LAS VEGAS, Nov 13, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sage Inc. (Nasdaq: SAGI chart, msgs), a leading provider of digital display processors for consumer technology and PC-display products, features today at Comdex the first public demonstration of its new digital display processor, the FLI 2200.
Sage will be exhibiting the world's first 10-bit single-chip motion adaptive deinterlacer in DVD players.
This new deinterlacing chip delivers video quality exceeding that of other products on the market today, effectively setting a new benchmark for measuring video performance. Additionally, Sage will be showcasing its Jaguar line of display processors, namely the Jag TX/TS, 200, D, and ASM/AUM. Highlighted features will include digital interface (DVI), analog and digital (dual) interface, high quality video (NTSC, PAL), Picture in Picture (PIP), Active Color Management, and resolutions up to Wide UXGA. Demonstrations will be shown at Sage's hospitality suite located in the Riviera Hotel.
