I agree with most of that.

Disagreements or partial or possible disagreements include.

The Draft
If a free America were ever subjected to attack, most Americans would be more than willing to defend themselves, their homes, and their families against the foreign aggresson

I'm pretty much against the draft. I do view it as wrong. But maybe it would be acceptable in a situation like WWII or a theoretical future situation where the US faced an actual and serious invasion. In such a situation people would defend their home and their familes but the defense of the country would be more effective if you had all these people in a unified army.

Military Policy and the War in Iraq

I don't think we will or should pull out now.

How to Make Health Care Affordable
"Health care and insurance costs will plummet if excess regulation is eliminated and malpractice awards are made only on the basis of strict liability.

Regulation and malpractice suits are two of 6 reasons I think have caused medical costs to grow so much. The other 4.

1 - We are living longer now but there is a lot of medical costs in the last years or decades of extra life.

2 - We are richer now and have more money to spend on expensive health care.

3 - New expensive treatments continue to become available.

4 - People pay less and less of their health care costs out of pocket. Its usually paid by insurance, and the insurance is often only partially paid for by the patient in many cases. The patient has less incentive to try and reduce health care costs because the patient will see only a part of the savings, often a very small part.

1,2, and 3 we probably can't and shouldn't want to do anything about. But reason 4 is signifigant and reducing it as a factor isn't simple.

How to Empower Minorities Without Reverse Discrimination!
"Prejudice is fading, yet minorities still lag behind economically. A labyrinth of licensing laws and regulations constitute the hidden roots of modern racial and ethnic discrimination."

Reforming (and frequently eliminating) licensing laws and regulations would be a good start. It doesn't really resolve the issue, there will always be economic inequalities of one type or another and some people will use them to argue for special treatment or advantages. I agree that we should resist such calls for "reverse discrimination".

Should Gay Couples Be Allowed to Marry?

Gay couples should feel free to have what relationships they want. That doesn't mean that the country should be forced to give some sort of legal recognition or such relationships, and the government should call such relationships marriages, if the majority of the country does not support such a change.

In the 2000 campaign for president, George W. Bush said that the federal government should not interfere with the medical marijuana policies of the several states.
