Recent news from Dow Chemical would certainly lend credence to this rumor. MIDLAND, Mich., Jan 24 (Reuter) - Dow Chemical Co said Friday it formed a joint venture with a Washington D.C.-based environmental consulting firm to manage the chemical firm's environmental clean-up projects. Dow said it will own 85 percent of the joint venture, named Raven Group Ltd. The rest will be owned by EOP Group Inc , the consulting company. Dow said Raven will help identify cost-effective clean-up solutions at Dow's U.S. manufacturing facilities.
