royalties Their website says that they have 3 designs eligible for royalty payments. Two of these (newbridge, oki) reached production status in fiscal 94. So I guess that these two are already factored in to their results (at least by now). That leaves one remaining. -- Can only guess with this one. However, testing equipment is probably a large part of their revenue. Remember, this equipment sells for hundreds of thousands of dollars a pop. With 75% of their business in korea and japan, look for enhancements to the equipement in the form of software, AI, expert systems. This is what koreans and japanese like. -- Would'nt it be great for the testing equipement to provide a day-by-day indication as to the performance of a line, and an up to the day, or hour ability to fix things in a manner that an expert system can conceivably do.
