Ken I use Metastock and have not used Tradestation, so I cannot comment. I love Metastock; programming is the same as Excel or Lotus logic. Newer versions have greater flexibility and features than the older(5.0) that I have, but mine still does what I need it to, so no upgrades soon. A guy at work is trying TradeStation. PROS:Says it is very flexible and can practically due anything. CONS: $2,000. He willing be trading $2 mil, so the cost is not a factor. But for an average joe like me, MEtastock ($350ish) works just fine. Steve
