I don't have much to go on (I just remember reading a post somewhere!) and it may be that they meant a fund LOCATED in Palo Alto. The closest microcap fund I could find was FRMCX (Franklin Microcap Value I) which seems to operate out of San Mateo.

BTW, the recent Metrowerks annual report and 10K was pretty nice, wasn't it? It was interesting to see that the head honchos are taking very little salary, counting instead on the stock appreciating - a good sign for investors.
