Ref:i2 Technologies. Shivram: I just got my 'investor package' from i2 and here are some points I picked up from their most recent 10K filing dated Dec.31,97. 1)Competition: (and i paraphrase...) Markets in which the Company operates are highly competitive. Competitors include: (1)Enterpirse Resource Application software vendors such as SAP,PeopleSoft,Oracle and Baan,each of which currently offers sophisticated ERP solutions that currently or may in the future incorporate supply chain software including Manuguistcs Group,Logility. (2)Dependence Upon Key personnel: Company's future operating results depend in significant part upon the continued service of a relatively small number of key technical and senior management personnel.etc...... "Kanna (Ken) N.Sharma,the Company's Vice Chairman of the Board and executive Vice President,has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor.While Mr.Sharma is currently providing services to the Company,there can be assurance as to how long he will be able to continue to do so." I thought I let you know. Any thoughts??? One thing for sure both i2 and MANU seems to be performing rather well lately and I wish I had some of both, oh well i will keep watch and see I can get in one of these days.
