Lucas, I noticed all the 20k-40k blocks right at the end of the day yesterday
too. This morning there was a 100k trade. $3.1 million!

On another note . . . I received an e-mail reply from WIND IR dept answering
a question I had about the seasonal nature of their earnings. Here's the reply
(sorry for the CAPS, they're hers, not mine): :-)

YOUR ASSUMPTION IS CORRECT. THE COMPANY HAS EXPERIENCED, AND EXPECTS TO
CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE, SIGNIFICANT SEASONALITY RESULTING PRIMARILY FROM
CUSTOMER BUYING PATTERNS AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CYCLES. THE COMPANY HAS
GENERALLY EXPERIENCED THE STRONGEST DEMAND FOR ITS PRODUCTS IN THE FOURTH
QUARTER OF EACH FISCAL YEAR AND THE WEAKEST DEMAND IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF
EACH FISCAL YEAR. QUARTERLY REVENUE LEVELS HAVE INCREASED OVER THE LEVELS
FOR LIKE QUARTERS IN THE PRIOR FISCAL YEARS BUT HAVE FALLEN SHARPLY IN THE
FIRST QUARTER OF EACH NEW FISCAL YEAR FROM THE FORTH QUARTER OF THE PRIOR
FISCAL YEAR. THE COMPANY BELIEVES THAT OVER TIME THE ANTICIPATED INCREASED
ON-GOING REVENUE STREAMS FROM RUN-TIME LICENSES AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
WILL DIMINISH THE OVERALL EFFECTS OF THESE SEASONAL BUYING PATTERNS AND
RESULT IN MORE PREDICTABLE REVENUE RATES. (FROM FY 1996 ANNUAL

Allen, you've been wondering how much I20 run-time licenses will mean to
WIND . . . well, I don't know, but it looks like they expect run-time licenses
in general to increase enough to be the major force in their revenue stream
in the future. FWIW.
