Heh Peter D did you get any of the Amisco stock?

I've owned some for about 12 years now. I picked up more at the 5 and 6 dollar mark.

The company hedged their exposure to the U.S. dollar and wound up with over $9 million of fun money. They also have $5 million in money market funds, which equates to about $4.00 per share in cash. They just declared a $2.45 special dividend on top of doubling their regular semi-annual dividend. $0.40 cents 20 cents in May and 20 cents in November. I have pretty well paid for all the stock that I have bought over the years with dividends alone.

They will still have $1.50 in cash after the dividend and they are earning $0.90 per year with a 15% return on equity. By the way the currency gains that they have are not yet being counted as equity. So their 15% R.O.E. excludes about $2.50. It is a good honest company which is debt free and at a discount to market multiples.

Does anyone out there care?????
