DELL (or a normal stock or market) is like a tree: it has the self-similar characteristics. You can see this by looking at 1-minute chart, 10-minute chart, 1-day and so on. They all have similar shapes and movements. The world is not quite 3D (maybe 2.618?). Three is chaos. So, I suspect that to determine DELL (or the market), there is no more than three factors. price or price incremental may be one, volatility may be another, where is the third one? I am not quite sure. price movement and volatility maybe move against each other. The more persistent movement in price will induce the anti-persistent movement of volatility. Some parameters related to both may be unity.

In the past few days, the volatility appears more persistent which implies the price is more anti-persistent. Since the risk for all time horizon might be the same except for the longer one, I think all the day trader did not make much or just break even, no matter what methods s/he uses.

People said in the past that I am not serious and could not take my jokes. This time I am, hope you can take it. :-)
