Mark,

The machines would sell for closer to $350K. However, Vasomedical does not sell the machines but offers them on long term leases. A leasing company collects the payments and pays Vasomedical up front.

Let's say they sell 500 units in the next 2 years as you project and collect $200K per unit from a leasing company up front. This would result in $100 million in sales or $50 million per year average. At $50 million sales / 48.7 million shares outstanding would yield $1.03 sales / share. Medtronic (MDT) stock is currently selling at 13 times sales. 500 units could treat about 20K of the 7 million patients in the U.S. alone that suffer from angina.

I think that it might take a while to get to this point. However, even if it takes until 2001 - 2002 to sell 500 units in two years, the return on investment would be tremendous from the current 75 cents.

Best Regards,
The Thrifty Investor
