Hi Patricia, I read the article you posted.

First, I hope you realize that gold and precious metals guys are bearish by nature -- so I hope that explains the bias.

It's always possible that we continue our deflation/earnings deterioration/unemployment spiral. There are certainly lots of forces at work that could make that happen.

But I think its more likely that our government does whatever it takes to stimulate the economy such that we maintain a 5.5% - 6.5% unemployment rate.

I think its also likely that the NASDAQ trades between 1650 - 1850 and the S&P 500 between 1000 - 1100 for a few months until the picture gets clearer and valuations return to something closer to historical norms.

Right now both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ are trading just below their 50 dEMA and 200dEMA and appear to be heading lower. But one of these days, the averages will break above these 2 moving averages.
