John.. that's almost exactly what I do, give and take a few features. I don't think people realize how much the financial newspapers add to your knowledge when trading. There was a time about 1' year ago that I invested thousands in newsletters which I don't denigrate, but after careful reading of the Investor's Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal (although I prefer the former).. I dropped the newsletters one by one until all I get now are the regular financial magazines: Business week, Smart Money, Individual Investor, Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, and Worth.
