This post by Ed Driscoll made me think about what causes the problems with the MSM. Journalism schools. They take a perfectly good College grad and give him/her two years of post grad where they take a course in "God 101" and becomes convinced they are some sort of superior being who doesn't have to listen the "great unwashed" anymore Everyone wants to be a "Professional", big "P". Teachers are really into trying to convince others, and themselves, of this. Having a nice 2 year "J-school" adds to the perceived prestige of the trade. I'm surprised that some enterprising "education professional" hasn't started a teaching grad school, like there used to be Teachers Colleges. Derek
