Could be. I coulda swore I heard someone on an internet site.... perhaps here talking about it.

I don't think they were talking about a Rhapsody client either. Comments like "rough interrface" described it as more server oriented OS.

I'd still like to see a snazzy client version out soon either on Intel (I don't expect it to run on Windows since it's supposed to replace Windows) or PowerPC.

I have heard that it was running on Intel architecture (likely beta) and that feverish work was going on to port it to PPC. (this was sometime last June I recall.

Would there be an advantage to releasing the Intel version first? I think if it proliferated under Intel, it might wipe the stigma of being Apple/Mac to the anti-Mac camp. It also gives the loyal Mac public something to look forward to. Then, it may give them more reason to buy an Intel box. Hmmmmm decisions, decisions.
