<Does anyone know whether the Japanese head manufacturers are hurting?> RDRT CEO stated TDK was their fierce competitor. He said RDRT was late to market with the 6 gb program but the 8,9 & 10 gb drives were in for qualification and had a leadership position. Also RDRT gave up 17.5% minority interest to a Japanese firm (I didn't catch the name) that they felt would help them in the Japanese market. Mark M.
