We didn't have all the heavy symptoms with fevers and flue but I did have chest congestion that persisted for more than 2 weeks and was really tired with occasional night sweats. I think the illness had something to do with my ER admission for heartbeat irregularities and chest tightness. They've given me a battery of test, and I won't know for sure until next week, but the cardiologist seems sanguine about the general state of me.

I exercise almost every day 10 miles on my bike. Ultimately, I think it was an unforgiving hypertension medication in conjunction with a caffeine overdose. I don't do caffeine very often and I'd had way too much that day. I felt really stupid. And I'd gone out twice hiking... not that far, but I was really not up to snuff. One has to take good care of oneself and I find that things I could do when I was 30, I can't do at 47. Duh, I guess.
