I'm glad to see this answer to my earlier question on
the low-end margins. It's more or less what I figured,
so I'm glad to see my back-of-the-envelope scratching
confirmed. I admit I hadn't figured in the monitor margin;
on the other hand, it isn't really a sub-1000 PC if it
doesn't at least include a basic monitor. That kind of
sales pitch has always peed me off. Schizophrenia.
