I suspect the reason why Bush falls back on religious passages to justify his 'presidential' actions, to whip the nation into a cause he sees as his own, and God's, is a simple one. He really can't communicate on an intellectual level concerning the intricacies of foreign affairs and the diplomacy required to present true leadership among other nations.

In short, he really doesn't have a clue as to what's really going on, and is pretty much saying only what he's been adivsed to communicate. He can't even deliver a speech before a large audience without use of a teleprompter. Thus, when pressed, and when he's on his toes, he almost always slips into the good-vs.-evil-we-gotta-git-the- evildoers-dead-or-alive thing; that the "evildoers" be brought to justice Texas Ranger style.

This doesn't help the people of America and it certainly doesn't help people of the world, all of whom require deep and dedicated leadership from the president of the United States.
