Moom, quite right: <Far more people are "culturalists" I think than actually "racists".>

There's the common feeling "Oh, I can't stand white people, especially well-off, white males over age 40 who have English as their first language, but I do have this good friend who is not like the rest of them".

A true racist wouldn't have the friend! They would run them over with a truck if they could.

But let's not spoil all the racist fun by being pedantic. Most people just love to feel sanctimonious by calling people racists.

Of course, they are racists. As is everyone. Especially women, who are notorious for being highly selective about whom they use to carry their DNA in their offspring. It's not just any Tom, Dick, or Hairy Harry who gets the privilege. Women are eugenics specialists. That's their main job = DNA selection and destruction.

Blokes are not so particular, figuring that pretty much any female might as well produce offspring to carry their DNA and excellent Y chromosomes which have survived through a billion years of high drama, narrow survival, serious challenge, mating selections and murderous conflict, never once, not once in those billion years, dying before succeeding in making it through to the next generation.

With a billion year unending success record, it's understandable that people think their particular DNA is very good stuff, well worth inserting into the next generation. "Hey, it has been fine for a billion years lady, I think it's going to work well for a few more years".

Unfortunately, there are umpty trillion living things thinking exactly the same thing at the same time, and they are all getting hungry each day. Something has to give.
