I've never heard that cry. When I worked on Win95, we went through incredible hoops to get every popular application to run and run well. At one point, our product manager personally drove to Egghead and bought one copy of every piece of software on the shelf. He backed up his truck to the building and everyone on the team took responsibility for compatibility bugs with at least 2 of the software packages. Mike
